Stylerun Loves Just Mayo in Vancouver

While I write often about travel and outdoor activities, I’m not one to write about food. In this case, I’m so excited to share the story of this game-changing food company especially if you care about sustainability, helping others and your own health. This isn’t about the latest trending diet or recipe, it’s about the future of food.

What is Just Mayo?  Just Mayo is Hampton Creek’s first product, a young and awesome food company with a mission to bring healthy and affordable food to everyone, everywhere is taking the world by storm.  With their mission at heart, Just Mayo is an egg-free, plant-based alternative to traditional mayonnaise that tastes better than the real deal. It’s healthier – it’s cholesterol-free, non-GMO, dairy-free, gluten-free, soy-free and lactose-free.

If you haven’t heard of them yet, you will. Not only do they have a star roster of investors (Bill Gates, Li Ka-Shing, Founder’s Fund) and supporters including Oprah Winfrey who recently called Just Mayo “the better spreader”.

Within a year, Just Mayo went from being available at Whole Foods in California, to having a presence Nationwide in Whole Foods, Safeway and Costco! Not only that, as of last week they’ve also landed in Hong Kong and Singapore. I assure you Just Mayo is going to be a household name if it isn’t already and know that it’s only a matter of time for it to cross the borders into Vancouver!

The Mister and I had so much fun taking photos around our favorite places around this beautiful city, starting at Coal Harbour then Stanley Park then Olympic Village where the iconic Science World and BC Place provide the backdrop. For more about these places and other awesome Vancouver landmarks, check out the Tourism Vancouver website.
