Stylerun was uber excited to hear a few months ago that The Color Run also known as the Happiest 5k on the Planet was coming to town. Inspired by a Hindu tradition Holi, a Spring festival celebrating color, the Color Run is a unique running event that is untimed , has no winners or prizes and runners are showered with colored powder at several stations along the 5k stretch.
8000 friends, colleagues, mothers and daughters, fathers and sons all came to the PNE grounds this morning to experience this unique race that celebrates healthiness, happiness and individuality. This race is the antithesis of competitiveness and those who had the most fun win!
